Call pranks as a good English listening material

Hi everyone there! How is it going?

For my students of English I always recommend them to learn language out of classes because it is impossible to show and explain everything on class and students should discover new things by themselves. Especially nowadays, when we can use internet it's quiet simple to get everything you want, just your laziness doesn't let you do that. 

Of course, I love to advice something to read or to watch in web and, from my point of view, there is one thing that can be the best opportunity to learn a real speaking language without staying in an English speaking country. I'm speaking about call pranks - yeah, you're right, I said CALL PRANKS, when a guy calls somebody and makes other person feel angry, mad o whatever. 

So here I go, why I recommend this thing? Basically, when we want to speak and understand somebody on their language we have to speak and listen to them, the same if you want to play a guitar, right? So there is no best place than just go outside your home and enjoy the street and people there. You choose today what do you like (music, cinema, concerts, photos, etc.), find people or places where they do your favorite activity and go there and try to speak with them and understand. Or let’s say better, your daily life – it is a complex of buying food, calling somebody, typing email or chatting in your own language WITH another people. Imagine yourself in the same situations but in English. Call pranks are these substitutes of that real life when we physically can’t be in an English speaking land and experience it. But we can listen it and learn something more from a real daily normal life language.

I know lot’s of people will complain about the content of call pranks – that’s their own issue, I’m just giving you advices and you can find the best call prank for you, without insulting and so on. But, it’s also good to have a little bit sense of humor.
